I don’t know if it is the weather or if I’m imagining it, but all my “big” injuries* are aching today. Hands, fingers, knee and shoulder.

*Not that big really, some surgery was required on the shoulder though. In the grand scheme of things they are only little knocks and I should really MTFU… but I digress.

No but yesterday I did. Sunday we did a 140k "at tempo" hack to Southend on Sea and some Cat 1's were dragging us lot along (nice of them) so pace was high. Yesterday I could have eaten the planet and sat in a Jacuzzi for 3hrs..

My superwife makes me mostly mtfu. She gets on daily with multiple spontaneous rib fractures, migratory osteolysis, osteoporosis and two subluxated shoulder joints. Recumbent trike with mods ftw. I yesterday spent a day in bed with stomach flu groaning as if dying so had word with self 8)

I'm having a random pain-free day, feels really weird. I guess it's all gone on holiday to Harry_The_Spider.

Nope, I was sore first thing, but I always am, one very hot shower later and it's all good.

I do fear old ago though...

Bingo, I was thinking it was just me suffering in silence, just ordered some mild winter gloves to try and ease the arthritic hand and finger aches and nobbles!

two broken toes

Karate? I caught a fist square on the nose about an hour ago. It was quite invigorating!

I'm surprised it took so long for the official STW diagnosis

Yes, some weird stomach bug going through our house, with terrible aching legs.

Karate?

How very dare you think I would be as daft as not bend my toes back when i kick

Over exuberant throw ,by massive fella, landing off mat at Jiu Jitsu - still mainly my own stupidity as I finished the training to not look soft. The leg lock nearly made me cry.

Spent the last three days walking round Manhattan. I don't think I've ever walked so far, and my feet are not being quiet about it now

A bit. Couldn't sleep yesterday so went out for a ride about 3.15am. 50 miles on a Brompton will make you sore the next day.
