This is strange.
As per title, I got an email saying
Thank you for getting in touch about your Sky Account.
We wanted to let you know that we'll be refunding you £39.00. Your refund will appear on your next bill. You can check and manage your bills using the
My Sky app. Just download from your App Store and sign in using your Sky iD. Don't worry if you don't have one you can create it within the app.
We've arranged for this to be paid back to your Bank Account and your money should be with you in three to five days.
I cancelled my account last October, no more payments have been taken since the final one.
I haven't been in touch with them since.
The email address is genuine, and after logging in to my old Sky account, I find a message saying the exact same thing.
This is totally out of the blue, I had no idea I was owed anything, but I'll take it.
Anyone else had something similar?
