[Closed] Anyone else get an epic sunset this evening?

Yep! Took a couple of pics on my phone but they don't do it justice. I'd just finished doing my 'last cut of the year' on the lawn, it's been about 2 months since it was last mown!

Was that picture taken with the Nikon. If so it is a damn sight better than anything I managed 😆

I bloody love thd sunsets at this time of year. Just wish they were a bit later 🙁

We saw similar to the op on a late spin this avo. We should have been at the highest point of the ride when it was at its best but old slow coach here was suffering as it was the third ride this week and my legs were shot!

I thought stopping as some point was pretty much guaranteed anywhere on the M6?

Yup, it was awesome. Didn't get any pics unfortunately so hoping for a repeat soon.

Saw a very nice sunset whilst out riding yesterday evening. Pale blue sky morphing into the 'incandescent eiderdown' as the sun caught the underside of the high clouds, then the pale bright yellow of the sun just disappearing. Very cathartic.

Driving back through the Peak Saturday eve.
