This is a bit ‘out there’ but…
My missus left her TWO laptops at our friends’ house in Esch, and we’ve just got on the ferry from Calais to Dover. Or should that be Doh!ver?
Anyway, what with Brexit and postage to the UK from EU being basically a raffle, I thought I’d ask on this incredibly friendly, helpful forum, just in case any of you are driving over and I could arrange Singletrack Courier.
I would obviously make it hassle free and pay you for your trouble.
Worth a shot?
Also, Happy New Year!

What do you reckon is the safest way to post from the EU then?
It's just that I've sent two fairly expensive things from the UK to Europe, and had both disappear in transit. Insurance is all well and good, but the info on laptops is just gone if they are lost.
If anyone has a good suggestion I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks!

UPS is my favourite courier.  They tend to be in most countries so don't hand over to someone else for the last part.  Wouldn't touch DHL at all.   Most others seem to use partners in other countries

Having said that though they did once lose a brand-new laptop of mine :(.  FedEx are a level up again but also more pricey

Send them in two packages to reduce the risk of losing both?

Perhaps you need to address that issue before they get sent - get them backed up

Did you find a solution?

I'll be in Lux at some point next week, probably Thursday PM

Surely you’d just restore from the backup?

If there’s no backup & the data is vital I’d look at a same day flight & collect in person, especially as even being you own property I suspect you’ll be hit with duty & taxes on two laptops, it’s likely a rtn flight would be cheaper & safer.

Stansted to Lux & rtn on Tuesday £42.
