Not exactly a Garage, but a corner of my Fathers factory was turned into a studio for his office seating. Stud walls 7 roof fabricated them plaster boarded, and the whole lot painted deep matt white. Installed a roller system with 4 different colour backdrops, and some pucca studio lights... Its awesome for product (ad the occasional family portrait) photography.
I'll did out a pic of it, and pop it up.
Why would you do this?
I've been buying stuff to use in my spare room for snapping my wife's scarves. I've learned a lot about lighting, but I need to learn a lot more.
Flashes, flash stands, umbrellas, backdrops, tripods, reflectors and reflective surfaces.
I'll take a picture of the setup if you like?
