Took some short clips at the Scott Trial yesterday & thought slow motion would look good. Could do with a free download for Windows but something pretty simple as I don't need anything fancy, just a basic converter. Can anyone reccommend anything?
Ta.
Windows Movie Maker Live
Opps wrong thread.
I think you can do it with gopro studio, its a free download and you can import non gopro video. Windows movie maker can do quite a bit too sho should cope, not used it for a while though, went to the other side a couple of years ago so its imovie these days
What frame rate did you record at?
That’ll affect how it plays slow mo
You need to shoot at a higher frame rate (60/120/240fps etc) then playback at 30fps (normal speed) to get slow motion, playing back something shot at 30fps at a slower frame rate will just be a jumpy slowed down video.
Depends how you want it to look. I'm guessing you've not shot variable frame rate where the camera 'overcranks' and you shoot lots of frames to be correctly interpreted on playback?
If not, ayou're going to adjust your playback speed by say around 50% or less to create slow motion. This will probably be a bit jerky as you've not done it as per above but at least you've got something slower.
Thanks chaps. It was on me phone & looks ok on my laptop. However I've no idea what the frame rate is! (Motorola XT1072) so probably 30fps?
I'll take the camera next time.
