We're going to go and look for it later on.
I will have butchers later on.
Cloud & rain here or I'd have been out.
Same,rain and cloud here 😔
Not great but some clear breaks so will try
Clear here...had a quick look but couldn't see it (with binoculars) but the moon is v bright at the moment. Might have another squint later.
Where am I supposed to be looking? Don't say up.
My app points me between Cassiopeia and Polaris, quite high up
After midnight, right?
Might take a shuftie. Got no binocs tho - so best I'd see is a green smudge apparently.
Supposed to be best about midnight, yes
Bladdy bollocks! Sky was clear as anything earlier, tootled about getting Stellarium app installed as Google night sky wasn't saying. Had to find some stuff to delete, finished off a bit of work. Just went out to get the binos from the car and it's bladdy clouded over! Harrumph. Ill just have to imagine a faint smudge instead.
Well, sky was quite clear, we found a fairly dark spot but the moon put paid to any comet spotting, it was way too bright. I could have read a book. Until the star map app I was using brought up a popup dialog telling me to calibrate the compass, with a nice bright white background. I mean, it's not like I'm using the app in a dark environment or anything...
