I'm planning on doing this in a couple of weeks for a summit wild camp to get some sunset and sunrise pics of Buachaille Etive Mor, The Ben, Mamores and Glencoe generally.

Looking at trip reports, the views are pretty spectacular - this was my initial inspiration Trip Report

I've climbed everything else in this area, but never this particular hill, simply because it's right next to Buachaille Etive Mor which is one of my favourite lumps of rock. But it looks like this is the most accesible for a summit wild camp.

There are two ways to get up this:

1. heading north and then west from the Kingy (might be really, really boggy)
2. parking up at Altnafeadh and grinding our way up from west to east

You can see the possible routes up quite clearly on this map:

Any advice/previous experience of routes and the hill generally would be appreciated, since we will be carrying fairly heavy packs and there is no path for the majority of the boggy 2,000ft of ascent.
