MrsMC has bagged a couple of free tickets to Magna at Sheffield/Rotherham, to be used by March - is it worth a trip with our 6 and 9 year olds?
(Does seem to be very close to a well known bike retailer as well.....)
yes, its ace. If you go when its cold take plenty of clothes as it was ****ing freezing inside when we went!
i live nearby and have never been but have heard really good things about it, the bike retailer is only next door...
Yep, it's brilliant.
Have taken ours a few times - on their own and as part of birthday parties around the same age as yours and they loved the big industrial scale of everything.
Lots to touch and mess with, it is freezing as it's part of an old steelworks and the water section may get them a bit wet on the arms and front if they get enthusiastic.
Well worth even a reasonable trek to get to it.
My experiences at magna are most certainly not child friendly! Banging sound system though 😉
Was better when it was a steelworks, as was meadowhall. Being less miserable, yes its worth going.
yep. been twice. once as a journalist covering it opening, second time with my wife. Both times great fun.
Right, that's a trip to [s]On One[/s] Magna planned then 😀
Well that's a result we're off their tomorrow!! 😀
