What's it like as a venue?
I've been a few times, seen The Union there twice, and the Virginmarys. It's a good, intimate venue, the acoustics seem fine, and there's a bar at the back.
You mean the Hop & Grape?
It was the Hop and Grape when I was an undergraduate, but I couldn't remember the name!
Went to an Ash & Dutch Uncles gig there a couple of years ago. Can't add much except to agree with the acoustics and well placed bar.
Not been in ages but went loads as an undergrad. Brilliant venue. Tiny little place, bar at the back, and you can lean on the monitors on the stage if the gig isnt too raucous. Ace wee place.
Good little venue, had some mad nights there in days gone by!
