Our strimmer / brush cutter (whatever they are called nowadays) has past the point of return. I'm after a new one. BIG garden, so must be a petrol. After that no idea which brands are and good, spares availability, useful features etc. Any advice please?

IME Sthil, have used Husqvarna but imo not a patch on Sthil. And i've used them for 6 hours a day for weeks on end cutting river banks.

my missus uses this, rates it quite highly, keeps me interested as well, says out of stock but i think you can pick them up elsewhere
