I worked in France for two years 1985-1987 and contributed to a pension scheme with CRICA who now belong to AG2R La Mondiale. I'm wondering if it would be worth cashing the pension in; I have no idea what it's worth but it might just be enough to pay off our mortgage. Presumably with the EU this pension will be fully accessible from the UK?

You probably can't cash it in (and no doubt would pay tax on it), but at least you could find out what it's worth as a pension.

Thanks. Two years of contributions aren't much but after 30 years they ought to have grown into a useful little nest-egg?
