Been given the nod to choose a new company car and after two Passat estates I fancy a change. The new Passat B8 looks great and is within the price limit but the local Volvo dealer has indicated that he's keen to break the VAG domination of our fleet and would be able to make the price right for me. I drove a V60 R-Design yesterday and quite enjoyed it but have doubts about the boot capacity. I can "post" an assembled bike on its side easily into the Passat with the seats folded, two is easy and three possible, disassembled with 3 occupants and 2/3 of the seat back folded.
So how easily does a bike fit into a V60?
I've a '62 plate V60. No problem fitting a bike with front wheel removed, I didn't try particularly hard to fit it fully assembled. It might be ok if you twist the bars round in line with the wheel?
I've never tried more than one bike so I'm not much help, I got mine with a towbar and use a rack for journeys with more than one bike

The boot is smaller than a Passat, but the V60 is a much higher quality and likeable car.
