If you are reading this and not a underfloor heating obsessive a-why are you reading this and b - sorry this is so dull......

I need to update a partially broken and none too smart controller/manifold/mixer valve on an underfloor heating system. Is there any go to brands I should be looking at? Looking for something with wireless room thermostats and app controllable - this is for a holiday cottage so punter friendly (or ideally controllable by me on my phone without them having an ability to access and **** it up).

Ta.

What bear says, however you may also need a control module for the boiler unless you have the rad control go through the heatmiser control unit (they have a spur/port for single rad control). Ive got a full wired in system, but wireless works well as long as you keep on top of batteries.

Thanks both. I'll start the searching now. The upstairs system probably could be brought into the same control as the ground floor. At the moment it's just on a timers with trvs which offends me too!

Assuming you have a condensing boiler that can modulate it's output make sure you can get something that can average out the demand from the different zones and control the boiler appropriately. I've got a valiant combi but a mix of controls that do TPI and a dumb wiring center and it's crap.

i'll end up with a UFH zones and an upstairs rad zone, using heatmiser stats and hub and wired up through the heatmiser wireing center which has 1 zone that can be used for the rads.

Our if interest, what system do you currently have?
Mine is Uponor and is still in working condition, but not user friendly.

I've got a Wunda smart system for my UFH set up. Seems to do the job, and enables everything including hot water to be controlled.
I'd recommend them and if you're ever stuck there technical team are pretty helpful.

That looks just perfect - thanks so much for posting.

I have a tado system in our house which I like but they don't have ufh properly sorted. Wunda looks like it has all the positives of tado and more.

Thanks again.
