I purchased a Sony KDL-40Z450?0 back in march 2009, and it has now started to devlop screen issues. The blacks look really pixelated sometimes when fading to lighter colours, and when going from a light screen to a dark screen there are ghost images left from the previous image and visible in the dark areas, is this ghosting?
Anyway, any solutions, firmware upgrades or is the screen on its way out? its a 200Hz motionflow TV and bever been sure if I have had the settings right from te begginning, but I am sure the picture was great to start with.
Any suggestions?

ok well could be a few things, but i reckon your processor is having issues we had a samsung with a similar issue a few years back TV repair man said that firmware had corrupted itself, however we never got it fixed as new years eve we got burgled and some nicked it!
