Away to stay near Oban for new year. Anything worth finding around Taynuilt/Oban?

Popping into Laggan on the way home so that's something...

Quite a few river crossings west of Victoria Bridge approaching Glen Kinglass. Could prove iffy after Tyndrum's recent record rainfall.

Westie from the Green Welly car park northwards has a better surface for a simple out and back to Ba Bridge or Glencoe Ski Centre.

EDIT: There are some easy forest routes between North Connel, Ardchattan and Barcaldane but anything 'off piste' will be a bog.

Go up the hill behind the airport from near the fuel station in barcaldine, good views, surfaced to the deer fence at the top, fast decent.
