Looking for another SUP. We already have an 11ft Itiwit from Decathlon and would be happy with another one of those, but are there any deals about on anything similar or better?

For the same use as the first or would you fancy it being a bit more specialist (whilst being able to wobble along with the first one for some of the time). Whitewater, surf, touring?

McConks have a deal on preorders for their beginners whitewater board at the moment.

Sport Pursuit have a couple of 12'6" 'touring' board packages for £440 - can't vouch for them, but I have a 12'6 Itiwit and it has far better glide than a typical beginners board.

Aquaplanet had some good prices recently, as far as I know they are decent

Brighton canoes have these in stock:

https://www.brighton-canoes.co.uk/productpages/sup-boards/enigma-11ft-inflatable-sup.htm

They are good quality basic 11ft SUP with a double skin and 6" thickness. Not as good as higher quality stuff by RED or Fanatic but certainly as good as any Decathlon board.....and they are actually in stock (though going fast)

(I am connected with this company)

Look at Puravida, based in the UK. They usually have ex demo/last season/display stuff.

Not deals, but having just gone through this There’s not much stock anywhere.

My wife’s “Elite” just arrived from here https://www.sandbanksstyle.com/collections/all-isups
And I think they have or are getting more stock imminently.

I’m waiting for mine to come from Gladiator, but they definitely have a long wait. Middle of May for mine which was ordered about 3 weeks ago.

https://www.twobarefeet.co.uk/stand-up-paddle-boards.html

My partner and I each have one of these, they're really good quality . Company is based just outside Torquay.

I also got a bargain of a chest zip winter wetsuit from them before Xmas.

They say they have a sale on now, but I'm sure the sales been on since I bought them 9 months ago.

If you are a Costco member, we have the Bodyglove Performer 11 and it's been good so far. The online ding on it is that its permanent fins are a bit short without a longer skeg for tracking, but I haven't really noted that. This year's model apparently does have longer/wider fins, so maybe that's why. I'm not sure it's as good a deal as it is in the US as the dollars/pounds prices are equal, but it's been solid for us so far and does well with my small son tagging along with me, though I doubt that it's winning any races.

Costco Online UK says it's out of stock online, but it said that when we bought ours in store as well.

These people keep advertising at me on facebook and it looks like a too good to be true deal (cheaper than Decathlon or twobarefeet).

https://cool-snow.co.uk/collections/paddleboards

Does anyone know if these are useable for a beginner or like the SUP equivalent of an AliExpress BSO compared to the not brilliant but workable halfrauds cheap bike equivalent at Decathlon?

Please do educate those of us who know very little about these products (I have kayaked, canoed and sailed quite a bit so am no stranger to water but well out of date with kit).

I ordered one a few weeks ago from TB Maritime LTD seems very good for the price, the guy has been very good with communication. They do look like the generic eBay ones but as I’ve never even tried SUP before it will do get me a taster.

@slowol no direct experience with them, but there’s a lot of chat on the FB group that it’s either a scam company or at least a bit dodgy. Tread carefully.

Thanks @phil5556. We were thinking of getting a board to 'test the water' and it is a relatively easy in to watersports now we have kids but no boats, boards etc. and no longer a member of clubs.

Will steer clear of coolsnow and probably go with TBF or Decathlon as established budget brands.

I bought a McConks 12'8" last year and have been very pleased with it, smallish UK company but very easy to deal with https://mcconks.com/. It was a toss up at the time between them and Fatstick https://fatstickboards.com/ but McConks are localish to me and had the board I wanted arriving sooner. Not as cheap as some of the boards but I think you do get what you pay for to a certain extent. Don't skimp on the paddle, some of the ones in packages are just nasty cheap things.

If they are the same F2 as a couple of years ago, they are not bad at all. Paddles were crap though but the board's were actually decent for the money

It all depends on which they've stuck their name on.
I suspect they'll sell out rapidly too so get in whilst you can!

What's a whitewater SUP?
Sounds like a recipe for broken ankles in the UK

( Or indeed anywhere less than 100 cumecs)

Sport Pursuit are doing 10% off site wide, which brings their sup down to almost £200.
So I’ve gone with that one rather than face the Battle for the Middle of Lidl on Thursday.
I must be getting old.

The SP code is SP-APR21-10

Some decent Osprey packs in there too.
