Evening all, been a while since I’ve been on here but always used to get a sensible answer 🙂 Anyhow, I’ve crossed over to the dark roadie side and recently discovered the joys of the indoor trainer. Bought an Elite Suito and use it with Zwift via Bluetooth to a MacBook. I’ve since read some articles about changing wheel circumference within the elite app? Mine’s set to the default 2070mm but should I alter this (dividing by x) ? Notice my average speed seems quite a bit lower than pals I follow on Strava and was just wondering if it was my weak legs or I need to adjust the setting ? Cheers
Not necessary. The only* data Zwift takes from the trainer is power. It then uses a basic algorithm to calculate your speed taking drag, weight and incline into account.
* cadence too if supplied by the trainer or external sensor.
