A union is leaking fluid on my Citroen C5 steering rack. It could just be an O ring, but Citroen don't list the part. Their solution is a new 800 pound rack. It would be cheaper and easier to sort the leak than replace the rack.
Where might I find a seal ?
bearing supplier / factors
p.s
Are you sure its not the pinon gear leaking & running onto unions?
There is a seal at the steering pinion valve but if its leaking out of the ends of rack then it's a new rack, are you 100% it's the rack the pipes to the rack are very common for leaking.
The main rubber to metal hydro pipes.

flex head ratchet spanners ARE YOUR FRIEND !
dont be tempted by the pattern racks! even if they are half the price
I'm pretty certain its leaking from the rack to rack union below the pinion. I can't see any leakage from the pinion itself.
Dingbro can do a rack for around two hundred pounds. That may have to be the solution, the car doesn't owe me much.
I've got a selection of flex head ratchets.
I might just whip off the pipe and try and see why the joint is leaking first.
