My sister in law has been on the phone panicking because she has found herself stuck in brum and there's a conference in the city that means she can't find a room for the night. Does anyone know somewhere as central as possible that might be worth a try? I'm on google but coming up with everything booked so far.
Laterooms is showing a few, the Novotel and The Britannia (avoid unless you run our of ideas) being 2.
Alternatively, tell her to look at Solihull hotels, it's 10 mins on the train and whilst not ideal would work as a back up.
Try lastminute.com? Or the premier inn or travelodge website, there's a few in the city. Hotel la tour maybe or hotel du vin if she's feeling flush. There's quite a few independents on Hagley Road which might not appear on booking websites too.
I tried a hotel du vin once in Cheltenham and man it puts others to complete shame!
Not cheap but would certainly be good for an after conference pissup. 😉
