I've got an old terraced house which still has the traditional lime torching on the inside of the roof. This is life expired - and then some, frankly - so I need to have remedial works carried out. Previous owners done some dodgy patching work with mortar and even foam filler 🙄 The torching is knackered but the woodwork is fine and the tiles are in great nick. Is there a modern alternative to torching and how much would it cost to re-do a 'normal' sized terraced house roof (ballpark figure, if I have half an idea of what I'm looking at cost wise then I can look at magicking some money/selling my body *ugh*/robbing a bank)?
