You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I worked for a partnership for 9 years, partnership split and I carried on working for one of them (now a sole trader) for 13 years till he formed a limited company just under a year ago.
In January this company went into liquidation and I lost my job.
Just had a letter from the redundancy office who only want to pay me out for 14 years service even though I have worked in the same place of work, no new contract at anytime etc for 22 years. Only thing that changed was a partner went and the company name changed.
Am I wrong in thinking I should be entitled to the maximum 20 years service payment?
Cheers guys!
Have you got uninterrupted pay slips, by any chance? Would show your employment status.
Rachel
Have you asked them?
as the company went bust, are you claiming off the governmnet redundancy fund.
No not got my pay slips going back that far but HMRC should have records of that.
I have just emailed them but was told it could take up to 15 days to reply.
Yes I am claiming off the Government redundancy fund.
Cheers.
Your continuity of service should also have transferred to new employer
