Looking for some towing mirrors.

I had some a few years ago and they were pretty crap. Fiddly and never felt secure.

Can anyone recommend something that has a simple and robust connection system?

I'll watch this one, the two pairs I've had seemed to just about do the job.
Maybe that's as good as they get??

Milenco mirrors work for me. They aren't as cheap as some, but they also aren't crap.

I've got a set exactly the same as those Milenco ones but a different firm and they are very good and stay put and don't waggle around in the wind. Also very easy to put on and take off.

I've got the ones linked in gobuchul's post. Nothing wrong with them at all, but if I was buying now, I'd go for the grand aero version, bigger with more vision.

Milenco all the way, worth every penny.

Agree with the recommendation for grand aero milenco's. I've had mine for a couple of years and they are as good as it gets. Easy to fit/take off and good rear view.
