Just as per the title really... On the lookout for a new bag. Mostly for festival/weekend use, so it's got to be sensibly backpackable, not too big or too heavy. My old one was in theory rated down to 8 degrees for comfort but really wasn't warm enough for me, so I'm wanting something a fair bit warmer (but not really sure what that'll mean in real terms...)
First ones that have come to my eyes are the Decathlon S5 Ultralight (£50) and the Ayacucho Sky 350 from Cotswold... But tbh I know nowt about sleeping bags. I don't want to spend an awful lot more than £50 unless it'll come with a solid benefit (that said, I would have paid £100 to miraculously replace the old one with a warmer one last time I used it! Miserable night...)
Any ideas? It'll probably only get used for 10 nights a year or so and the old one's still good for summer/indoors use.
People on here often recommend the Snugpak Softie bags - prices seem to vary though so look around.
Mountain Hardwear Lamina 35 is good down to freezing, and quite lightweight given the price.
The clue is in the name ... 😉AlasdairMc - Member

Snugpak Softie Autumn is a 3 season bag and is supposed to be good down to -10 degrees Celsius - I used mine in the Andes. Not sure of the prices though.
Cheers folks- definately some good options in there, will need to do a bit more looking now I think!
Just to say thanks folks- in the end found myself looking mostly at Snugpaks and on their advice picked up a Travelpak Extreme, just arrived today and ticks all the boxes at a silly price. Wouldn't have found it without this thread, so, cheers!
(they seem to consider it a 2-season bag but their claimed comfort rating is better than plenty of 3-seasons so I thought, what the heck, it's cheap enough that if I need another bag for colder weather it's not hte end of the world)
