I can imagine how annoying that would be. Printer would've gone out the window if I'd owned one. Then they wouldn't have had any money for new cartridges out of me, the bastards.

Unbelievable Big_n_daft!

Canon is great value. I printed off around 600 double sided pages in colour this afternoon. Think it cost around £1.50 including paper.

I also have a Canon. Although my previous Canon stopped working for no reason whatsoever!

At least my Canon warns me the ink is running low but keeps on printing. The Epson I had previously refused to print black and white letters when the colour cartridges got to a certain point (which appeared to be about half full...)

Get an HP with their Instant Ink subscription. We pay £1.99 a month and always have genuine ink. Gave up on trying to get copy inks to work.

I imagine if HP get away with this (I.e. no U-turn or brick dropped from on high) then the others will shortly follow.
