Looking to get this radiator and get the pipes sorted in the floor. The bumf says pipe centers at 505mm so given the centre to centre distance of the legs is 584mm I assume the pipes come though the floor inside the legs and attach to the valves as opposed to coming up thought the legs. I know it's a stupid question but never seen one in the flesh and can't find a picture of one that's piped up just the catalogue photo.

yes, there'll be two pipes coming up fromt he floor to the bottom of the 'taps'. You can get chrome covers to slip over the copper pipes.

just seen it excludes the valves - you could chase the pipes into the wall if you wanted and use different valve so there weren't extra pipes coming out the floor.

just as waswaswaswas described.. pipes up through floor into base of 'taps/valves'

i'd put chrome covers over the pipe once installed and cover the hole in the floor with the small chrome covers that are available..

most important thing with something like this is your tape measure.and spirit level.

put the thing against the wall in the postion you want.. make sure its level and square to the wall .. get a piece of copper tube the length of tap to floor and use that as your guide for where to drill your holes make sure it is vertical on all planes before commiting the drill to surface..

simples..

I presume you could elbow out of the taps & into the wall if you dont fancy fetching the floor up...

Use white plastic pipes, much easier to twist, bend, adjust and bodge when you realise you have mis-measured - or of course just measure properly*.

* My excuse was the floor joists were in the wrong place
