recently attempted to roll some external walls using a cheap long pile roller but it took ages + loads of elbow grease to get decent coverage of all the nooks and crannies in the surface .
basically i've got 2 huge walls still to do ( and a lot at considerable height) and obviously would prefer to use a roller and extension pole as before.
Is it simply a matter of buying a better quality and even shaggier/ longer pile roller or are there any other tricks?
A brush would take for ever!!
many thanks

There is no quick fix for this, just use a long pile masonry roller and keep at it.

Go to your local Dulux Decorator Centre. Top advice, top paint, sensible prices (when you consider you will not be buying twice).

agree - trying to get more paint on the wall in one go will just result in runs.

Standard answer to everything - 'hire a professional and stop dicking around'
