I have an Electrolux EDOMSS eye level double oven. The main oven has stopped working although the light still works.
Any ideas of what I can check before replacing the wrong parts and/or throwing it away?
Cheers
Nine times out of ten its the element.
It would be worth changing it first as its an easy job.
I used espares.co.uk when my oven element went
This will sound a bit mad but is the clock set?
We had a power cut and the oven stopped working at the same time(clock flashing didn't bother me) without the clock being set the oven simply made a click every time you tried to turn it on. A bit like it was tripping a fuse inside.
This was on a Neff double oven but it maybe the same principle?
espares are good.
WCA is having a run of bad luck. May I suggest a dark room with no doors or windows for the foreseeable.

I was just thinking that. Lets just hope the millions he makes from his iPhone app eases the pain.
Ahh WCA - are you an app developer? Do you have any examples? Currently going after some work which involves (for a portion of it) a golf game developing - of interest/capabilities?
I have an app idea. I was after a developer to write it for me.

+1
Mine went in summer. Took 5 mins to find the correct part on espares, which turned up very promtly, and 5 mins to fit. Job done.
Any Oven technicians/repairers here?
There, corrected the title for you.

Ahh okay - well if and when we get this one developed we will be in a stronger position to advise.
I bet your idea isn't as good as MY app idea though if I ever get it done.
Bet mine makes more money though...
.... and crashes more.....
