Word on the street is Ozil, if he had to leave, would prefer Man Utd. Not sure I want Arsenal spending so much, on fees and wages, on a player who doesn't even want to come here.
And a player as good as he is I'm not sure Arsenal need. I think we could still do with another defensive minded midfielder, another genuine winger (Di Maria), a finisher, keeper and I would have said a CB but looks Like Lasagna has that covered with his recent performances, although need to get his contract sorted ASAP.

Ozil is an excellent signing (in theory) but I think Arsene needed to beef things up a bit more. Updates: Dominic Fifield reports that Chelsea would have been willing to let Demba Ba move on loan to Arsenal, if only the two clubs had agreed a loan fee. They didn't, so he stays, and Lukaku leaves Chelsea instead.
