Any Optometrists on here ?

New glasses time , I likeTransition/ Reaction lenses with anti glare . Boots sell " genuine" Transition lenses Specsavers are called Reactions , over the years I've had both , current pair are from Boots . The Transition lenses seem to go a fair bit darker than I remember the Reactions? That means obviously they take longer to clear.

Dilemma is Specsavers are chucking in the Reactions for free meaning a saving of £60 odd🤔 Any evidence out there of one being better than the other ?
