I got my eyes tested yesterday and didn't look at the prescription until today.

The axis says R 165.0 and L 8.0, this is a huge difference, is it correct or a typo as I don't know what it means.

Thanks

Axis is for astigmatism.
I'm something like 120 and 15.....
Plus I can shoot lasers out my eyes....

it's in degrees from vertical axis isn't it ? so 9 would be same as 189, so not that far away from 165 ?

I am not an optician ! 😛

Yes, it is the angle of the astigmatism. It can be from 1 to 180.
180 is the horizontal which is why there is no '0' as it is the same as 180.
It doesn't matter what each eye is.
