Is it possible to import a PDF into a Word document and place text over the top? A Client wants to use an invoice I designed (in InDesign) in this way but I can only seem to do it with a J-PEG which looks a bit crappy.
Any one know a way of doing this?
Ta!
Use the snapshot tool in acrobat and before pasting into word increase the zoom to 150% (say) and resampling. Then paste into word and put a textbox over the top. Putting the image etc into a table cell can help to stop it wandering around as well.
You can do it online with pdfescape.
Shouldn't look crappy as a jpg. Are you putting the graphic in as a watermark in the header? You can then do what you like in Word to get the data in the right place. A table is probably easiest.
Thanks for the pointers, I'll have another crack at it... Cheers!
