Thinking of trading in the Touran for one. Like the versatility of 7 seats for my large family, looking at the 2.0 diesel sport.

What age? around 07/08 they had serious problems with the DSC (dynamic stability control) system and it is some £1.2k to repair.
Look at the whatcar used reviews - yes, people only tend to post issues on the internet but when I was looknig for an MPV these came out far worse than any others.
Seems like constant niggles and issues. Hence why you can pick up a 07 one for circa 4k.
Look at the Honda FRV instead.
Here is a short thread on the DSC issue - I think it effected the 3 more than the 5 and 6 but they still have the same issues.

The tyre wear issue (as on the link posted by Hora) is interesting as that one I thought only effected the 3 - we can easily get through a set of front tyres in 10k (and that is being driven VERY carefully. 😯
