Don't know a lot about 'posh carbon' but how much would a .6 carat, 'brilliant cut' diamond be. Guideline?
( I realise there's probably more to it than that)

Are you selling or valuing for insurance? What are the colour and clarity?

I've just emailed your query to a mate of mine, pity you didn't post earlier in the evening, he'd have been able to check at work tomorrow, and given an accurate idea, as it is he won't see my mail until tomorrow evening, but he might still be able to give a good ball-park number.
He's a goldsmith, btw, working for a small family business, and makes rings, settings, etc.
Follow up tomorrow.

Colour and clarity will play a big part in this answer. A very clear (IF or FL) rated diamond that is D colour rated will be worth a lot more than one further down these scales.

Blue Nile has diamonds like that ranging from £800 upwards.

The five Cs.

Cut, colour, clarity, carat and certification.

The difference between a bottom and top end of the scale could be three times the cost.

Is this just for a loose diamond or set?

Where my wife used to work were selling 1 carat rings for $5k, they bought a job lot of mixed spec diamonds and could sell them at a reasonably cheap price. A good 1 carat could easily be 10k+ depending on the five Cs!

What is it with women and diamonds?
We were in Hatton Garden recently, she was drooling over the £20k+ rings.
Basic wedding / engagement rings were £500+, with a diamond so tiny you could hardly see it.
I saw nothing in them to make them worth more than £200.
She said they were cheap.
I said we could buy a new car each for the price of one ring. I know nothing apparently.

Ok, just got the reply back from my mate:
0.6 ct Clarity VS1 Colour H (which are mid-range quality) with GIA certification, c.£1400 - 1600
Hope that helps. 😀

OP with a stone that size you need not go for top quality clarity/colour as you only see the benefit in larger stones. Countzeros post sounds right for colour and clarity. As with many things now you can search on the Internet for prices given the criteria you want - cut, clarity, colour and carat
