Mrs D28 has an old ring which she's fond of (oh er Mrs) which has worn so thin on the band that its snapped.I'm taking it in to jewellers today to find out about a repair cost but have no idea on price & would like to know if I'm being ripped off. Would anyone have an idea of the cost involved?

What metal is the ring made from? Does it have any stones in? Email me a pic to info@christopher-perry.co.uk

Your looking at around 50-80 quid for it to be repaired and sized up. If its worn away they will basically thicken it back up with some more gold.
