Probably some sort of missing system font or an inability to download the fonts in used on the page. Probably wrong though.

Running latest beta fwiw. Maybe try updating to latest stable release?

Couger

Nice try but nope
when i auto detect it goes to unicode which is what it waas set to originally.

I thought i may not have the font but it works fine in FF and safari

its just the red headed news page not the main white one which is fine.

our connection speed here can be pretty shonky so i was thinking it might be to do with that but ??????

No biggy I'll cope somehow (or maybe do some work!)

It's only a flounce if one announces it on STW.

Dunno then, I've never used Chrome in anger. Delete the Internet cache maybe?

try deleting your preferences for chrome.(first port of call for a wonky program)

yourHD>users>yourUser>Library>preferences>com.google.Chrome.plist & com.google.Chrome.helper.EH.plist

failing that you've deleted a font i reckon.
