I am thinking of a wee active subwoofer for my car, or a DIY passive one.
What do folk do in terms of crossovers? I've heard of just turning the bass down on the door speakers and then fiddling with the controls on the sub.
If I had a passive one, should I use an electronic crossover for the sub and/or the door speakers? I'd thought of using a bandpass sub enclosure that would have a 24dB/octave slope.
