I was just about to post that cloudnine but i think the RAB stuff is by invitation/for VIP users only at the moment. There's some good bargains to be had though - even after googling for the same items online the sports pursuit price is decent

I'm just about to buy the Boreas pullover and Novak fleece top as they get very good reviews on various climbing/ultralight gear sites.

Have the Novak - awesome.
Go Outdoors have loads on exclusives right now.
Picked a Novak, PS Hoodie and a Sawtooth Hoodie up last week.

I keep banging on about it but...

I picked up a Mountain Equipment Valkyrie ProShell for £80 - it is sat at £99, but I had extra £20 before Christmas.

They have a number of lighter ActiveShell ME jackets, and a pile of Rab jackets at similar discount.

Just bought the RAB Boreas pullover too.

If you are spending over £75 code SP-JY-10
Should knock £10 off
Over £100 and SP-JY-15 should knock off £15

The VR Lite isn't a waterproof. But as he says, there's half-price Rab on the SP VIP sale atm including the NeoShell Guide which would be my choice from that lot. Got a mate who's a SP VIP?

Arghhhhh, i forgot i had the bloody discount codes in my trash folder…i could've saved myself another £10 as i bought the dryflo 150 as well as the novak & boreas.

Damn my attempt at inbox tidying - I'll email them to see if they'll apply it retrospectivly

😀 Hah!, all those rab items have been on wish list for quite some time as they often pop up on the various hiking/mountaineering blogs/review sites i read as must have/recommended bits of kit and to get them at that price was something i couldn't pass up

I got the emails with the Rab stuff

What do you have to do to get these? Last one I got was for Berghaus (yesterday).

I've not bought from sports pursuit in quite a while so perhaps the email + discount code is sent out to tempt back previous buyers who've been silent for a few months?

Hmm, I'm just a voyeur and have never actually bought anything from them, mainly as you can't try it on before hand...

Their returns system and refunds are very good, money is usually transferred back into my account on the day they receive the goods back - never had an issue even when i've held onto stuff for weeks before deciding nah…don't want it

And bonus! - they're going to apply the discount code for me so i got all 3 items for £79.

Footflaps I used to be a tkmaxx devotee. Theyve changed- lots of tat but they also source cheap new stuff manufactured (seen lots of labels in there that you've never heard of...)? I'll register with sports pyirsuit

Rab neoshell is great. Sportpursuits have a half price VIP sale on now (Mens Neo Alpine Jacket £135)....not that you will actually spend that sort of money....

TK Maxx are still worth a look.
Picked up a bit of Vulpine kit from there over Christmas and have seen some Yeti said in there recently.

Angeldust I WOULD. My Montane Direct Ascent got me out where my lesser pertex wouldn't. A good jacket helps tur a sodden wet rat ride into a damp fun ride.

But how??????

hora : Must be rather annoying to start a thread and end up the only one not able to buy 😀

Have a look at the Rab Neo Alpine Jacket here and through the various online review (google it), if you're convinced it is the one for you then figure out your size and bank transfer me the £134.99 + £5 for my postage down to you (£140 all in) and i'll order it. When it arrives at the end of February i'll post it down to you.

Stock is showing as :

Vivid in small/medium/large/x-large/xx-large. Beluga in small/medium/large/x-large. Poker in small/large/x-large/xx-large. Ink in small/large/x-large/xx-large

They also have the Rab Nexus jacket in Blazon colour using polartec neoshell at £139.99 in small/large/x-large/xx-large with reinforced patches on the shoulder and arms which may be better if you wear a camalbak

And finally the Rab Bergan in Cayenne (Event fabric) at £114.99 only in small/x-large though.

Evening. Gooutdoors are doing the Rab Nexus neo for £100. It's the Alpine version, no reinforced shoulders or Napoleon pocket. I've ordered from there so I can try instore and if (again) it becomes a warranty issue I can go straight back 🙂

Someone very kindly sent me a link to the Rab VIP sale, which worked 🙂

Noticed that they have the Baltoro Alpine Jacket in the sale which isn't on their website - which is a bit odd. I did have one, but sold it on here as I out grew it, was an excellent piece of kit.

Like somafunk, I think it was sent out to tempt former shoppers back, as I haven't purchased anything there for at least 6 months.

Thanks for the link but it just directs me to the 'normal' front page. Not meant to be!

I bought a large a XL Nexus. Awful fit, both of them. Hideously bad. The Myriad that was bought tonight is beautiful compared. XL - I'm 6ft2, broad shoulders chubby gut. I'm a XL in Montane purely due to the shoulder width. Waists on these jackets always seem too big.
