have decided that it's time to try and get a proper internet connection (am currently using a 3 mobile dongle). would ideally only want internet usage only (no phone line) for surfing internet/playing on my 360 (unlimited use if possible).any recommendations as to what to look at (what sort of price i'm looking at per month e.t.c) thanks in advance and apologies for being a numpty,but there are a lot of choices 🙂
I was using Plusnet as they had the best no contract offers (one off start and end fee) either supply your own router - best plan or pay for theres.

it also has unlimited midnight-8am downloads
There are lower consumption packages too
With ADSL, you're going to have to get a, phone line. You should be able to get line rental and BB for less than 20 pounds.
Orange and O2 both do very competitive broadband deals for mobile customers - often Orange are giving away fifty quid in vouchers too.
Sky are also advertising a no telly broadband deal at the moment.
I used to have internet only from Virgin via cable for the fantastic price of a tenner a month but they don't seem to be adverting internet without a phone line now...
