I can't use the apple support communities as my apple id won't let me log in, so I made another which also won't sign in.

My problem is I bought this http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/mpartspecs.aspx?mtbpoid=8C4DD5E1A5CA7304be off a forum member. this is what crucial recommend http://www.crucial.com/uk/store/listparts.aspx?model=MacBook%20Pro%202.26GHz%20Intel%20Core%202%20Duo%20(13-inch%20DDR3)%20MB990LL%2FA%20Mid-2009

I am now getting these http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3742

Now I could just put my old 2GB RAM back in, but I was wondering if I could solve the problem rather than buying more from crucial?

Is the ram properly seated?

Might be worth having a quick word with Crucial?

I assume so, I can double check when I get home, it's very fiddly compared to my old white macbook.
