Just bought a present for the Mrs on the Go Outdoors website.

The item was marked with a "Discount Card Price" at a significant discount to the RRP.

I have a discount card which must be at least 2 yrs old and I haven't renewed it.

I put the number in and it was accepted. So do they actually track the numbers and validity of these cards or not?

They certainly do instore - mine expired by a day and I had to renew it.

Did you have the cost of the card added at the checkout on the website? They renew with the same number if it has expired.

I thought that they might of added the £5 at the end but apparently not.

In store I have had to renew before.

probably but also probably interested in will customers only buy at the discount price - system accepts out of date details so transaction goes ahead = no lost sale + data on ex customer would return if price right
