1900's mid terrace, I don't have noisy neighbours by any stretch, however, the dividing walls are paper thin and I want to do something about it in 2 bedrooms and lounge. It's low level, near to the wall noise ie TV against wall, people getting up for work at 6am, a shower cubicle on other side of a bedroom wall.
I'm aware that you'd have to go to great length to fully sound insulate, but in this case I think I could make a big different with just straight wall soundproofing.
Anyone any experience of simple stick on tiles or the other extreme of creating a false wall with acoustic insulation inside and acoustic board outside . Any other experience, and/or advice or direct me to stuff you've used. Thanks.

Interested in hearing what people say. Same in that our neighbours are pretty quiet, but we can still hear everything.

apparently you can get sound proof plaster board.
I asked our plaster to use some in our top bedroom.
made bugger all difference but then again he may just have put any old crap up and pocketed the rest as he was a fat cockwomble

Short answer seems to be "good luck with that." I'm going to close this thread as it's the third near-identical one in the last month.
