[Closed] Any electric combi boiler experts in the house?

Good day all.

Our wobbly old oil boiler is on it's last legs, and our wobbly old oil tank has started to develop cracks, as well as being in just the wrong place in the garden.

Its looking rather complicated and expensive to relocate and replace the tank and boiler at the same time. We have no mains gas near us.

Does anyone have experience of electric combi boilers? The boiler itself looks to be cheaper than the oil equivalent, plus we don't need to replace the tank - in fact, we free up the garden space removing the old tank.

Any horror stories or recommendations? Longer term plans include solar panels with battery storage, which hopefully will offset any increased electricity costs.
