(as in the machine, not stood at the sink!)

Ours (a 10 yr old fully integrated Neff) has just packed up. Died sometime during the last drying cycle (dishes were clean but a bit wetter than I expected when I emptied it. No lights so I assumed herself had just turned it off and not done anything more). Tried to turn it on last night and nowt.

Diagnostics so far:-
There's power into it.
The main switch functions as expected and transmits voltage
The live OUT (grey/black) of the switch goes straight to the control unit and shows 240V at the control unit connector when the switch is on.
The neutral OUT (red/white) of the switch disappears under the machine in a bit of trunking
The wire (red) that shares the plug into the PCB with the gr/bl live from the switch comes out of the same bit of trunking, but shows no continuity with the red/white from the switch.

Now my thinking goes that no neutral connection between power source and PCB is probably the fault, but to get any further in dismantling the thing is going to be a massive amount of work as I'm going to have to take ALL the cupboard fronts off to get the plinth fascias off to then try and pull the thing out. (stupid kitchen design!)

The PCB itself looks OK, bar possibly one component - what I take to be a largish resistor where the paint appears to be flaking off.

So can anyone tell me what happens to the neutrals in the guts of the machine, and why its likely to have failed, or if I'm barking up the wrong tree entirely?

Thanks!

Small internal water leak which has caused some sort of short circuit / component fried somewhere along the line?

10 years old - fairly good innings for a modern machine so might be more economical in the long run to replace it rather than throw cash at a plumber / electrician to try and get to the bottom of the problem.
