We're looking to re carpet the living room and like the following 'Country Living' branded carpets in Carpet Right (CR):
We like the 'Dakota Mineral'
https://www.carpetright.co.uk/carpets/dakota-loop-pile-plain-carpet
It's quite expensive and 'exclusive' to CR. However I'm assuming this is just carpet from another manufacturer that has been rebranded to the Country Living brand with a healthy mark up.
Ideally i'd like to use our local carpet fitter rather than a nationwide brand so am keen to see if i can establish which manufacturer makes this and what the true make/brand is.
Does anyone know what carpet this is if not buying via CR?
Dunno, but that's identical to my carpet and it's not soft & indulgent*, it's just a cheap, hardwearing carpet. Nothing wrong with that, but if you haven't actually felt it, don't believe the advertising!
(*I suppose it is soft and indulgent compared to a concrete garage floor, just not most other carpets)
Appears to be called "berber loop" -
Go to your local carpet store and just let them advise you. You’ll get what you want cheaper!
A lot of the plain carpets are fairly similar nowadays.
If you are in West Yorks I can recommend a carpet specialist.
