That would mind sparing me a little time. Trying to help a friend who's an EU national living here on pre-settled and has just been diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer.
Just trying to see if they're entitled to any benefits and they're likely to have to give up work (wagon driving and the big C don't really go together).
Best bet is probably to get in touch with Citizens Advice, they know their way around the benefits system very well.
Certainly an option. Thing is said person trusts me and struggles a bit with English, especially on more complex issues so just trying to help them with some basic info.
They're in a proper shit situation so just trying to get then pointed in the right direction.
