I've been pretty happy with the GM remixes so far. I still think the 2009 remasters are the 'ones' for me, but I love the 'enhanced' audio experience of the remixes. I particularly liked the packaging on the deluxe CD box sets.
Are you getting the 50th Let It Be release?
I like LIB, but it has never been a favourite album of mine and so instead of the deluxe, I may just go for the 2 cd edition this time around. In honesty, I never listen to the demo/outtakes much anyway - I'm just a bit of a completist when it comes to The Beatles.
Rubber Soul & Revolver remixes? I'd be all over them.
Love The Beatles, but no, I won’t be spending out on any new cash-ins, remixes or whatever! Fine just as they were.
Prefer The Beastles 😁
In before the inevitable 'Beatles are the most overrated band ever' comments...
I have a set or mostly original records but would be interested in hearing opinions on these releases.
Perfectly happy with the remasters from a few years back, both stereo and mono - no need for remixes as far as I can see. If it ain’t broke, etc.

Yeah, “not as good as these bands nobody’s ever heard of, and who’ll be crap as soon as they release their first album and sold out to The Man…”

Don't Let Me Down on the rooftop is peak Beatles, in one respect quite literally, and musically almost beyond compare.
I've Got A Feeling from the same set is probably my favourite just because of them being apart together in it. They look so happy to be playing together up there, nods and winks to what must have seemed like what it once was.
Are there links to the OP? Had a quick look but only seeing Abbey Road shiz.
The Beatles were my first love, i will love them like that.
OK so now i am a bit confused.
Once there was Let it Be - the difficult 'not the second album by any means' album. Spector is drafted in to wall-of-sound the bejeezus out of it. It becomes 'canon'.
Then there was Let it Be... Naked - the 'one for the purist' album. That stripped the wall-of-sound off and left us with what Paul McCartney thinks it should have sounded like.
Now there's Let it Be (2021 Mix) - the difficult to believe it's not butter strange hybrid of the two that precede it.

The comparisons will be more interesting with Winding Road and Across the Universe but it sounds like it's entirely unnecessary.
To the haterz there is this love song-
No haters have arrived yet.
No haters have arrived yet
Jeeze give me a minute, I've too much going on...
Nah, not really. With those ingredients I think I'd struggle to come up with a mix which didn't sound great.
There is the irony that the song's 'let it be' which profound words are what a liverpool mum would speak sharply to get a kid to leave something alone (and which meaning runs through the song fwiw). So yeah, can't they just let it be?
And also, there's the coincidence that the remixer has the same surname as the original producer. What are the chances of that happening? Cosmic...
""I’m constantly looking at how we would approach it if I ever get to [remix] Revolver or Rubber Soul, early albums, which a lot of people want me to do.."
Do they? Do they really?
