Hi
I had a tow bar fitted today, all went well with it...I took the car out this eve and put it into reverse and the REAR FOG LIGHT SYMBOL came up on the dash -REVERSE LIGHT WORKS AS IT SHOULD and PARKING SENSORS work, that's problem one ! FOG LIGHT IS NOT ILLUMINATED
Problem two ! Put the REAR FOG LIGHT on symbol comes on and the REVERSE LIGHT comes on and the PARKING SENSORS come on ! FOG LIGHT IS NOT ILLUMINATED
Obviously I will contact the fitter tomorrow but would like some more information before talking to him...
My first thought is that the FOG LIGHT wire has been attached to the REVERSE wire...I am not an auto electrician so this is just a guess !

basically wired wrong and easy to sort. Not a full wrong wiring possibly realy issue if fitted or a short. Hard to say but a few minutes fiddling should sort it
I think you've got all the information you need.
Yes, he's probably connected a wire wrong somewhere, but there's not much you can do about it. Just take it back and describe the fault and check it before you take it away again.
