And then there are all the many instances of healthy active people getting COVID and being ill, but even if you are super healthy the real risk is getting COVID passing it on to someone who isn't. Masks and vaccines really help with that.

the only time the government ever got people to do anything good for their health was in lockdown 1 when you could go out for exercise once a day. people waddled around the park getting more steps in than they had done in years.

I was in London today. KGX > Mayfair > KGX Very high compliance of masks on and off the train. Actually I didn't notice anyone not wearing one. Clients were diligently wearing them too.

I remember chatting with a horse rider summer last year and them mentioning how many cyclists were out and about and how the cycling advocates must be kicking themselves of not thinking of the best way of getting people riding was saying "you are only allowed out once a day".
It definitely drop off this year. The local park/scrubland was ultra busy last year but now its back to the position where I can go wildlife watching so long as I miss lunch time and the dog carers.
