You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
So, I've got my first marathon next weekend. In my last long training run I noticed some chafing on my nut sack. Not too bad but painful enough to cause a distraction. Obviously I don't want to start changing shorts etc. in the time available so was wondering if anyone could recommend a good anti-chafing cream?
Cheers!
Bodyglide is the standard, or I tend to use NOK - bit harder to find in the UK, a friend in France sends it over for me.
Any of the normal chamois creams would do you, though.
Happy Bottom bum butter, is the best a person can slap on any areas of chaffage and its also foofoo friendly for the ladies. Even better it doesn't leave a minty smelling slimy feeling like a slug has shagged a polo mint in your pants like a lot of other chamois cremes.
Current favourite is waitrose baby bum butter. It's wallet friendly compared to "proper" riding stuff and seems to do the job nicely. I think it's made of olive oil, so largely natural ingredients.
